It is reported that Taiyuan Steel-produced high-grade pipeline hot rolled coil (L485MB), after processed into spiral pipe manufactured by one Chinese pipe company, has been shipped to Netherlands and used in Shell project. The shipments are over 10,000 tonnes. It is the first time for Chinese spiral pipe to be exported to Europe.
The pipe's thickness is 17.87mm at most, not only enjoying mechanical properties but also meeting the requirements under the circumstances of minus 20℃.
