Definition:

Lead glass is a variety of glass in which lead replaces the calcium content of a typical potash glass.Lead glass contains typically 18–40 weight% lead(II) oxide (PbO), while modern lead crystal, historically also known as flint glass due to the original silica source, contains a minimum of 24% PbO.Lead glass is desirable owing to its decorative properties.

MAINTENANCE & CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Do not stick anything on the surface of the LX glass during the installation. (When masking tape is used in caulking, remove it immediately after caulking and wipe off any tape traces with alcohol.)
  2. Do not use a wet cloth or water to clean the LX glass. Immediately wipe off water in case the LX glass becomes wet.
  3. When the LX glass becomes dirty of marked with fingerprints, polish the surface slightly hard with a dry, clean cloth like gauze using alcohol. Wipe the LX glass again afterwards with a new, dry and clean cloth to completely remove the alcohol remaining on the surface.
